Title: Receptionist/Insurance Office Support

Location: Seattle Office in the University District

Type: Full-time

Description:

We are seeking to fill a full-time position at our independent insurance agency office in Seattle, Washington. The position will initially serve as receptionist for the office and provide essential support to our team of experienced personal, commercial, and health/benefits insurance agents. Position duties will include: answering incoming calls and directing to appropriate staff, greeting clients, mail distribution, data entry, and bookkeeping duties. Responsibilities will progress to include additional customer service, leading to an opportunity to become a licensed insurance agent.

Qualifications:


The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills and a friendly telephone personality. Insurance experience preferred.

Other qualifications include:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook) required

Experience with office support, marketing, and sales
Ability to connect with people and build strong customer relationships
Knowledge of insurance operations is a plus

Hours: Monday-Friday 8a.m. – 5 p.m.
